The startingpoint of each Jurgi Persoons collection is based on human aspects (sentiments, situations, convictions, ...) which touch by there emotional significance or through their radical attitude.

As Geert Bruloot, owner of Louis in Antwerp, said it in an interview and I quote:

Jurgi Persoons has reunited with the powerfull image of the older generation. His Designs are disturbing and arouse controversy when they are to be sold. But this is what fascinates me. Jurgi is going full steam ahead and is leaving minimalism behind. He uses shapes and conventional fabrics in an innovative context, in other proportions. Slanting hems, combines tweed and snake skin, tartan checks with finely worked embroideries. But Jurgi Persoons is mostly a particularly trendy designer because he is able to keep his creations in line with a global context. The manner in wich he presents them, the photographs of his clothes fit in with his collection and convey a forceful and unforgettable image to it. This is also what is new.
